Hi! Again! Such quick help here! I uploaded my picture yesterday and it didn't load apparently, so I did it again just now,  and it worked, but on my settings page to look at it, it's HUGGGEEEEEEE. Could someone check my profile and such to see that it looks normal?   Thanks in advance!  Read more >

I just finally joined Blogher yesterday, it's been on my to-do list for weeks. I find it VERY overwhleming. Is there any kind of Explore Blogher in 10 easy steps?? lol Sounds dumb probably, but if there was a page that said : Great you've joined Blogher, now what!?!?  First go check out .....link.... and browse around.  Now after you understand and love that go....     Just a list of steps to break Blogher down into smaller bite sized pieces.  Is there any such thing?    Read more >

About Me:

Quick Summary:

I'm 26. Married to Nick. We have one 2 1/2 year old son, Blu, who is as smart as he is funny, be he has a speech delay. We do home preschool.

More in depth:

I fell in love with my husband seconds before I even actually saw him. For a story you won't believe ask me about it! And we've been together ever sense. It'll be 10 years this month! (August 09) He's a great husband, supportive, sometimes funny, and I love him more then I did when I met him. I love him more every second.

Blu is a mammoth. He's always double his age in clothes sizes. As he is now 2 1/2 I'm prepping size 5s. He's so funny and will do anything for a laugh. For us anyway, he's shy to others. He has a speech delay that we're still discovering everything about. And he is a challenging fella in many ways. His toughest being that he is the exact Dr Sears definention of "Spirited" and the second being that he is so smart, but can't talk. It's hard to work with him on his level when he can't tell you his toughts.

I have a strong belief in making everyday magical.  Wether I'm decorating an everyday dinner with a special something, or allowing Blu to drink tea in my nice glassware, I think everyday should be savored and enjoyed.

Besides blogging I love reading, both fiction and non fiction. Most of what I read seems to be about parenting or homeschool.  I also love crafts, particularly anything that involves a needle/hook and yarn/thread. I love sewing embroidery in several styles and forms, knitting, crochet, and more.

I actually started blogging several years ago, 3 or 4 at least, that I then quit doing. I love it, but it had no readers and I was sick of talking to myself. Then when Blu was born I ran a blog doing reviews, and as he got older it faded away. Now I've started a personal blog. I wrote very randomly at first, but as I remembered how much I love it I write almost daily!

I run a (not so popular yet) blog carnival called Tuesday Tea, which is about taking a moment, savoring a cup of tea or coffee, and enjoying the day and life we've been given.

If I could make just one wish, it'd be to go to BlogHer Conference 2010!!
