I Can't Believe I Just Said That!!

Sometimes when I'm dealing with my kids, things come out of my mouth, that immediately I think, "OH MY God, did I really just say that?" It comes out and I think that didn't sound so great I should of handle that better, but it's out before I realize. Even the old "think before you speak" doesn't work because I didn't even have time to think about it. It's like my mouth was working on it's own. My husband says that's when his filter is clogged and he needs to clean it. Only usually it's not the kids he's talking to, but me.  Read more >

   How many times and ways can you tell a teenager NO. I swear they don't hear me the first ten times. Do they think if they keep asking me  or asking the same question in a different way I will change my mind?  Read more >
