I acknowledge (trying to, desperately) that who I am (not necessarily what I do) is important and enough.
I’m 29 years old and married to my high school sweetheart. We live in North Carolina far from most of our friends and family but we are creating a life we love together. We have a golden retriever named Sandy aged 13 but is still our little puppy. I have varied tastes in activities: running, swimming, biking, dancing, cooking, scrap booking, baking, cake decorating, sewing, grilling, reading, writing, cleaning, drawing, religion, planning and organizing. I have been a recovering type A for most of my life – some days are better than others.
I work from my home office for a computer reseller as (offical title) Office Manager, but the boss mentioned renaming it "Right and Left Arm" the other day. I do everything BUT for direct sales.
My education was in Theatre Production. While I miss the hands on creation and energy I find that I can still get the same rush with logistics (and late orders) and I do not necessarily miss the hours.
