Parent Like Someone Is Watching

You know that famous saying that begins "Dance as if no one is watching you"? The idea being that we might be our true selves and live happier lives if we weren't so self-conscious.  Read more >

Is Parenting Feeling Hard? Maybe You're Thinking Too Much.

Sometimes I can't wait for the day to be over. Yes, I said it. Sometimes I am just trying to kill the seemingly endless hours between the crack-of-dawn time that my kids wake up, to the can't-come-soon-enough hour that they go to sleep. Perhaps this feeling stems from the really intense phase our daughter has been going through in which she needs to be in control of everything. And when she's not allowed to have her way, holy Mother of God...watch yourself!  Read more >

Best Friends, Or Just Brother And Sister?

I have a good friend with boy/girl twins who are just 3 days younger than mine. when my children were less than a year old and still completely ignoring each other, hers were seeking each other out. Hers were the twins with the secret twin "language" that only they understood. In the middle of the night her son calls for his sister instead of mommy. Reality Check

Six months after my husband and I were married, he narrowly missed having a heart attack. An angioplasty and 3 stents later, he was (more or less) good as new. It was a scare and a shock and afterwards I was all over his food intake and his exercise regime. And time passed. About Me:

My name is Gina Osher. I am a former holistic healer turned parenting coach, SAHM to boy/girl twins and author of The Twin Coach. My background in the healing arts guides my parenting in many ways and thus, also shapes my blog.

While I strive to simplify parenting and give a helping hand, I don't necessarily have all the answers. But I hope you will come along for the ride while I figure this whole parenting thing out. I will do the research, impart the knowledge I gain and we all, hopefully, will benefit!

My goal is to explain it all in a simple way, that's easy to relate to, and to do it in a personal way. I love your feedback and comments, I hope you will also join the wonderful people I've connected with on Facebook and Twitter. After all, we all have wisdom to share...I look forward to hearing yours!
