I Heart Dads...

A few months ago, my Dad had a heart attack... it was described as a very mild heart attack, and he ended up with no damage to his heart... of course, while he was in there for that, they found a tumor on his kidney. He then had surgery to remove the tumor (which the doctors said was almost surely cancerous). The surgery went well and, after testing the tumor, it actually turned out to be non-cancerous, anyway! He was very scared when he went into this surgery that he wasn't going to make it through, but he has since made a full recovery!  Read more >

About Me: 
My name is Jennifer, a.k.a. Mommy to twinhappy.com spokestwins Anna and Josie :-) And, I decided to create my site at twinhappy.com because, before having twins myself, I knew very little about twins...

I had encountered a few sets of twins here and there, but there were no twins in my family, I didn't have any twin friends and the whole twin thing was just as much of a mystery to me as it is to most people I meet today :-)

That certainly has changed, though! I have learned a good deal, and now have first-hand experience with just how beautiful, special and yes, challenging, having twins can be. Of course, I wouldn't trade it for the world :-) And, I've come to realize there really is no happy like twin happy!


About me... I was born on a cold Christmas afternoon in 1974... oh wait, maybe that's going back too far :-p

Now I have identical twin girls born May 1, 2005! They were born almost 10 weeks early due to complications from TTTS (Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome).

I'm also an evil stepmother to two teenagers :-p My husband Dave and I were married on October 1, 2000, but we actually met around the end of September in '92 (and started dating around the same time, the next year).

We have been on the 'net since 1995 and I've been developing websites since '97... I currently describe myself as a stay-at-home-Mom since that's my primary job right now, but I am still involved with website development.
