The Sky is Falling!

Some tell the Mayans they were 355 days off. The world ended January 1st, 2012, or at least that's how it feels. Actually, it kind of feels like one of those scenes in a CSI episode where someone is drugged and you're looking at things from their point of view. Everything is swirling and you're nauseated but making any sense of what's happening to to you is out of the question. Get Up on Your Feet

I am a neglectful pet owner. Feel free to report me to the local authorities. Well, I suppose that's a little extreme. They eat food that I spent hours on the Internet researching, they are up to date on vaccinations and heartworm treatment, they allow us to sleep in their queen size bed and dictate when and where we can go on vacation.  Read more >

Be Careful What You Wish For

Two months ago, if you had asked me if I was ready to move to Oregon, I would have given you a wall shaking "YES!". Two months ago, I was all set to pack up my little family and head out on the road to the great unknown, Husband's and mine first real grown up adventure.Now, however, with packed boxes cluttering my walk ways and looming unemployment, I've become rather subdued.
