The short version: I am an electrical engineer working for a small consulting firm in New Jersey. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 1989. It was a relief to find out what was wrong and to get treatment. The medications have made my life much easier in some ways. But they do have some side effects. I started The Bipolar Planet in 1995 while attending Trenton State College, now The College of New Jersey. I was a non-traditional student. I started college in 1975 and completed my degree 25 years later in 2000. I am an open-minded skeptic. I am a master in Usui Shiki Ryoho. When I'm not failing Pillager Retraining, I hang upside-down in a dark closet.
