About Me:

Jennifer, an American mother of 2 young girls, is the Founder and Editor in Chief of World Moms Blog.  She is a graduate of Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania, where she studied Finance and Japanese.  She has worked  as a financial analyst on Wall St. in New York City and for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve in Washington, D.C.

She left the financial workforce before becoming a mom to pursue her interest in Anthropology because she loves to learn about different people and cultures.  Now she is a stay-at-home mom who likes to write and network with other moms of the world!  And, she finds herself using her organizational management skills (acquired from that MBA she never finished –oops!) in managing World Moms Blog.

Her past volunteer experiences include helping to build an adobe-style house in New Mexico, USA for a low-income family; teaching beginner English classes to immigrants in Washington, D.C., and aiding an Anthropology department at the National Museum of Natural History.

Jennifer’s interests are trying to study and speak French; reading books by the famous anthropologist, Margaret Mead; keeping up with her book club, and watching NCAA basketball and World Cup Soccer (and, for the record, just because she roots for England doesn’t mean that she doesn’t love her home country first!) .  The farthest she has traveled was to Japan as a foreign exchange student and to South Africa on safari.  This goal-oriented mom is also on a mission with her British husband to visit all 50 United States, and they have 17 more to go!
