As I've been preparing to wite this blog, my 5 and 7 year old little girls have been at the kitchen table with a bag full of ribbons, buttons, yarn ect, elmers glue, paint and glitter (all non-toxic of course) card board boxes, poster board and paper and sure, they are making a bit of a mess, but so what. They will entertain themselves for a couple of hours, the cost of thier art supplies may come to $15, and they are being creative! Read more >

About Me:
I am a 44 year old Mother of 4 children whose ages range from 27-5! I have working in the field of Cosmetology for 26 years and my resume includes teaching Cosmetology, owning my own salon for 9 years, managing various salons, and working for the Board of Cosmetic Art in my home State of NC as an examiner. I consider myself an expert on 2 things.....raising happy, healthy, intellegent, successful and creative children, and looking and feeling my best as I age as I help others to do the same (without spending a fortune I might ad!) My children and my carrer are the two priorities that I enjoy most about my life!
