Over at www.salary.com, they've conducted their version of the yearly salary for a stay-at-home Mom. After calculating the hours a Mom puts in each week for such things as cleaning, laundry services, facilities manager, van driving services, and top chef (to list only a few), they came up with a yearly salary of $ 122,732.  Read more >

I was just thinking about life and all of it's complexities. That's enough to make your mind go into overload. It's like a machine about to overheat, that rattles and shakes and eventually explodes, spewing its contents into the open and making anyone nearby run for cover. It can get ugly. So I try not to think about the subject much. But this morning I was standing outside and my mind went there. More specifically, I was thinking about people who are needy versus those who are, well, just needy.And there is a difference.  Read more >
