NaBloPoMo November Day 4 2011

When you are writing, do you prefer to use a pen or a computer?Well, I stopped writing with primarily pen and paper as soon as I learned how to do word processing on a computer many years ago. At this point, just about everything I write--from notes to myself to research to personal and professional writing is on the computer. The major reason I keep everything on the computer and "in the cloud" is that I can always find what I'm looking for. All of those notebooks I previously used are just on my book shelves and I have no way to quickly "search" their contents.  Read more >

Can you listen to music and write? What song did you hear today?For the 3rd day of National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo), the prompt asks about a blogger's music listening habits. Actually, I cannot write WITHOUT music. It may seem strange, but I cannot work in total silence. About Me: 

After a career of 35+ years in education, collaborative sales and sales management and marketing, I started my own freelance writing and editing business in July of 2008. My company, Writing It Right for You knows that "It Matters How You Say It"! I work with individuals, graduate and post-graduate students, and businesses throughout the United States, Canada, the Middle East, India, Russia, Thailand, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom on a variety of academic and business writing and editing projects.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Psychology and a Master’s Degree in English/Language Arts and Curriculum Development. I also have a Reading Specialist Certification from the State of Michigan and several business licenses.

My specialties include working with education and graduate students--especially ESL students, copywriting, ghost-writing, manuscript editing and working with writers/authors, writing web content, blogging, social media marketing and networking, direct sales, and writing and editing various papers of any length involving research and/or APA citations. I also do affiliate marketing and maintain four personal, political and business blogs and I guest blog for several clients around the world.
