Michael Jackson's Legacy
By Anonymous on February 28, 2011
Michael Jackson's children were able to keep it on the low when they volunteered at a center for the homeless in Los Angeles - because people had no idea who they are. "They just blend in there and they just want to give as much as they can to that center and other charities as well."
Michael’s three kids, Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket, are regular visitors to the L.A. Family Housing, which helps families' and individuals' transition from homelessness. And many residents at the venue are completely unaware of it.
The reporter joined the children and their grandmother Katherine Jackson during a visit earlier this week and recalls how one kid reacted when he noticed Paris carrying a copy of "Never Can Say Goodbye," a tribute book released by the Jackson family last year.
This is what I like about Michael, for us to witness his legacy keep the low profile at giving back to the ones in need without making the fuzz about it. As a humanist he taught well and I think that most of “celebrities need to take a hint” of what we’ve seen these kids done at the homeless center, they have spent quality time with the people there. That means more that any item you can give out for auction.
