Most of us agree that doing a half hour of meditation daily would reduce our stress levels, but setting the time aside to do it would bring more stress than it relieves. So what is a busy person to do in order to reduce their stress levels and feel better?

Enter Asithi.

Asithi writes a health and fitness blog at Small Steps to Health. The blog provides sane health and fitness information for anyone wanting to live a healthy life now in order to stay physically independent as you age. Her motto: Never take orders from a cookie!

Asithi specifically offers advice on reducing stress levels in a post that also offers information on how stress affects the body (how much do you know about adrenaline and cortisol?).

I like her idea of finding an amount of time that works for you in terms of meditation by measuring how long you can keep still rather than holding yourself to an arbitrary number.

Go over to her blog to read more tips on how to reduce stress in your life.

Melissa writes Stirrup Queens and Lost and Found. Her novel about blogging is Life from Scratch.
