Forgot to post this yesterday...

O-M-G! I thought last weekend was crazy, well this weekend was even crazier!! Let me try and explain it to you in the shortest version possible. This works best if you try and imagine me saying this in one long sentence without taking a breath...

*deep breath in* Ready?

We went to my father's picnic on Friday evening, my friend's band played out Friday night, the band got in a huge fight and broke up (temporarily?), Saturday morning my sister in law, her 3 kids, her best friend, my brother-in-law AND his girlfriend all showed up at our house for a surprise visit, my 2 girls, Rudy and I had our hands full with BBQs, trips to the outlet mall, a local fair, swimming, sun tanning, more BBQ, late nights, trying to figure out how to comfortably sleep 11 people under one roof (yes they all stayed with us and that's how we do it when we go there too), Rudy and I successfully learned how to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 11 people, sometimes 18 people if you include friends and neighbors that stopped by, Julie got heat stroke and almost had to go to the hospital, more BBQs, swimming, sun tanning, trips around town and late nights, Julie got a little better, I took the day off from work Monday to spend more time with the family and tend to everyone who spent WAAAY too much time swimming and sun tanning (think dehydration, sunburn, and exhaustion), making 3 square meals for 11-18 people got easier and easier with practice, by Monday afternoon they all piled back into the van and went back to Chicago, but it didn't stop there, Monday evening was arrachera Monday with our neighbors Missy and Andy which meant more BBQ, more swimming, and another late night, Monday night was sooo hot (we don't have central air) that Rudy and I spent the night with two children sleeping between us (we have a window AC unit), I got kicked in the ribs repeatly by both children and realized I might have to charge a central air unit, or give my kids up for adoption, Tuesday morning Yuna woke up, said she felt sick and threw up in the garbage can, then the toilet, then the garbage can again, she had a fever over 100 so I took another day off from work so I could spent the entire day taking care of her and cleaning the house from its extreme over use, and then FINALLY last night things calmed down, we rented a movie, I grabbed a bottle of wine, we relaxed on the couch

and passed out.

*deep breath* PHEEEEWWW and THAT was my extended weekend in one breath. If you think reading it was hectic, just imagine living it. The best part is now I have twice as many photos that need to be posted to this web site, and my to-do list that was already pretty damn long, got even longer. I never thought going to work would be considered more relaxing than being at home... but after this weekend, it actually is.
