Last night I was talking to a friend of mine who has a 21 year old son.  She told me the funniest story!  Basically, this was our conversation:

“You’ll never believe the text message I got from my son! I’m sure it was meant for his girlfriend, and not me.  We’d been texting back and forth about directions, and then all of the sudden, this is what I got!

 

“That shirt really makes your boobs look good!”

 

I didn’t know what to do!”

 

Me: “You should’ve replied with this…. Gee thanks! That just makes my day! Love, Mom.”

 

Yeah, I’m still laughing over that one.

I also have a 21 year old and can relate. That is SO funny. I would have done the same as you and texted right back. If only to picture the look on his face.

Your friend didn't respond at all? I'm with you I would have responded! Of course, if that happened to me, I'd never let my son forget it! Everyday, I'd ask if my boobs still looked okay in the shirt I was wearing or maybe ask him if the jeans I had on made my butt look too big... That story is a classic!  I bet the young man was absolutely horrified when/if he realized what he did!
