The thing I LOVE most about my MotionSense faucet is being able to wash my kids’ hands quickly. Whenever they come in from playing outside with their Dad I am typically in the middle of dinner. When they run in I quickly wash their hands and they’re on their way. This also leaves the faucet mud free....more
Now that I have the MotionSense in my life, I just want to spend all day washing dishes! Haha! THAT is a lie! But I am being completely HONEST when I say this faucet has actually had a big impact on our family’s day-to-day life. The convenience of “hands-free” can really only be appreciated after you use it. We’ve only had it a couple of weeks and we are SOLD....more
Let me tell you, I’m a changed woman! (Ha! Too dramatic?) Okay, so maybe that’s a little overboard, but I absolutely LOVE this faucet. In fact, I love it so much that I’m either going to have it uninstalled so that I can take it with me to the new house when we move, OR I’m just going to get another one for the house. But either way, now that I’ve gone hands-free, I won’t…I can’t…go back. Seriously....more
I LOVE LOVE LOVE being able to place my dirty casserole saucepan down, activate the top feature, and walk away. In 90 seconds my pot is full and soaking, and the water automatically turns off. BRILLIANT!...more
The Wave sensor at the top: Simply wave your hand over the top of it and the water will stay on for filling up pots, etc. while you run rescue your 3 year old whose belt loop got hooked on the cabinet! Simply wave your hand back over the top to turn it off again, and the neighbor kids will think you are magic....more
When I'm opening a package of uncooked meat I get pretty serious about washing every part of my body and kitchen that might have touched the meat. Okay, so I'm starting to sound crazy, but there's a point here. Let me introduce you to my new friend: the Moen Arbor with MotionSense faucet. You see, this faucet is pretty cool and helps me relax about my germ phobia. Why? Because it's super smart. I was nerdy-excited to review it....more
This hands-free design comes in especially handy when, for example, you want to wash vegetables or dishes. The two sensors are totally smarty-pants and work completely separate from each other. Honestly, the faucet is so thoughtfully designed, sometimes I feel like it’s smarter than I am!...more
Once it was installed, we set to work giving it a thorough test run. I think my children may have washed their hands more in that one day than they usually do in an entire week. Because you set the temperature for the Ready Sensor and the Wave Sensor on the control box, I never had to worry about my younger kids turning the water on too hot and burning themselves. I also didn't have to worry about them not turning the water off completely, since it was done automatically....more
