The sun is shining, the grass is thinking about growing and it's time once again to enjoy life. What's your favorite way to kick back with your technology?

Maybe not the same as a day at the spa, but Carmen makes it sound almost relaxing.

Being able to see the little faces is pretty important to happiness.

Yes, you must. But I totally understand the temptation. With Twitter, you're never alone. Which, I suppose, could also be seen as creepy. But I like it.

What do you think? How does technology improve your state of being on an average day?

You can follow BlogHer's Momspotters on our interactive map in the Family Connections group.

The Momspotting map tracks our 21 on-the-ground reporters, who are tweeting their daily experiences with parenting and tech.

Family Connections, including the Momspotting map, is a BlogHer community journalism initiative on parenting in the digital age. Mobile phones and cards for our bloggers were provided by Sprint.

Rita Arens writes at Surrender Dorothy and BlogHer and is the editor of Sleep is for the Weak. She is BlogHer's assignment and syndication editor.

I use Twitter quite a lot in my work, especially lately with the book. I've done complete interviews with people in DM over 2-3 tweets each.

In particular I find it useful for short messages that don't merit an email.

As for the limit, I love the challenge of expressing an idea in the short form. Not for everything but it does help me be more succinct in expression.

It's hard to be interesting in 140 characters. But more fun than FarmVille.

I really don't understand the increasing appeal of Twitter - 140 letters simply isn't enought to say any more that "hey I'm twittering again - anyone actually reading what I write"?

Interactive maps will only encourage more tweetles just to be flagged.
