Monday Meal Plan on Tuesday October 9

Long weekends always mess me up for meal plans, especially when they are connected to a holiday like Canadian Thanksgiving. Which is to say, I don't have a *real* meal plan. Well, kinda. Sorta. But not really. We have a plan for the week, it's just not the normal kind of plan.

Our fridge is kind of overflowing. We have a bunch of half empty jars and stuff that we bought for quick summer marinades. We don't buy them a lot but every now and then we buy them to try out new flavours and then figure out how to make them ourselves. This week we want to get rid of them. Clear it out! Make room for new things! So, that's what we're doing.

Tonight we've having pork tenderloin with an orange-y grilling sauce. We're also making a mixed veggie salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, broccoli and peppers. And maybe some rice.

Either tomorrow or Thursday I think we'll do something with the peanut sauce in the fridge. Maybe chicken with veg and noodles.

Friday night will be pizza night.

I'm not sure what Saturday will be. I kind of want Chinese take-out.

I am thinking pepperoncini beef. It's been awhile since we made it and it's a good fall meal. (And another jar out of the fridge.)
