Monday: Namaste and Blog Updates
By nfoste2245 on November 06, 2012
Monday was an "active rest" day. This meant that while I wanted to move, I knew that running and biking were probably not a great idea. So I dug out the Yoga for Athletes DVD and looked at what it had to offer for "recovery". Not much was that it offered. I spent about half of the recovery program in Corpse pose. Which is actually one Yoga pose that I have down pat. I can lay on the floor like a dead person with the best of them.
I really want to find a DVD that is just for stretching. Anyone know of one I should check out?
Breakfast - PB and Choc Overnight Oats. They were so filling I didn't even think about lunch until after 12:00.
Lunch - Chicken and Apple Sausage with a baked potato and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.
Snacks - Carrots and a peach. A leftover brownie.
Bad choice of plate for both pictures. I am really going to work on the food pics.
What the !@##%% is up with the Phoenix weather forecast? My sister and I are volunteering this weekend at a trail ultra race. We had better bundle up for filling water bottles and making pb&j sandwiches!
We are also enjoying the fact that Arizona doesn't change their clocks. It has made my work calendar a little screwy, but I love that the daylight remained the same and it hasn't thrown the dogs off of their meal schedule. It makes me think there is no need for anyone to change their clocks. What benefit does it give, really?
I am testing out a new blog writing software. If you see anything whacky or off about this post, please leave me a comment and let me know. Also, if anyone out there has any experience to share or advice on possible moving to a self-hosted blog, let me know about that as well. i am considering blue host as a hosting service.
