More than halfway

I got up late this morning so everything is off kilter for me.  But I was on the road by 7am and rarin to go!

The Malibu is a very smooth ride and the figuring it out of it all has been pretty easy.  I discovered the XM radio COmedy channel and am too afraid to try to use the On Star without permission.

I filled Brid to the Brim this morning so I would get a good idea of the mileage capabilities.  There have been discrepncies and spculation so it will be interesting to see what we all come up with at the end.

Having never driven a hybrid before I wasn't aware of the video game aspect.  According to the quick user manual you want to keep the eco light lit as long as possible.  Meaning you want to keep a steady pace without too much acc/deceleration.  This can be distracting because of course you want to get a perfect score.

The other distracting thing I have seen on this open road we call The 5 is a hundred of these:

These trucks are seemingly filled with tomatoes.  Now, whether they are bringing in good ones or hauling out all the recalled ones, I will never know.

I am more than halfway in a small town called Santa Nella right now.  If I was a pea soup eater I could go to Andersens for lunch but I am a cheesburger eater ergo, I will go to Wendy's.  I am using the wifi (not free) at the Pilot travel center (also known as Flying J), I have a 24hour pass for only $5.  If anyone travelling reads this and wants to use it before 11am Friday, DM me on Twitter @Adriennevh.  and I will text you the sign in info.

OMG I am going to be THERE any minute now.

Well about 3 hours from now.

p.s.  I am taking the route that includes the bridge!  I am scared but I am also a little engine.
