I have always liked this quote. To me, it applies to life in general, but also specifically to education. You do not have to accept something simply because that is the way it has always been done. If a certain school, teacher or classroom is not working for your child, advocate for your child, suggest a change and/or find a better fitting educational environment for your child. After all, your child's educational experience will greatly shape who he or she will become.
