Fingertip Faith is taking the first step even when you can't see the whole staircase.

~Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

These words could apply to a million situations in life whether it's career, parenting, marriage, friendships, new endeavors, strengths, weaknesses, old habits or new goals. Each of us has our own fears and challenges to tackle on a daily basis. I will not presume to know the demons another must face, but I know my own.

Dr. King is correct; it's the first step that's the hardest to take when there is something at risk. Yet we cannot change or improve or do anything of consequence without taking some amount of risk. Faith is a powerful instrument to be kept within arm's length at all times. So, when doubt or fear or anxiety creep in, choose faith and take that step.

It's Friday…. Go eat some chocolate. It's good for you, and you deserve it!

Unless otherwise noted, these are entirely my opinion. Take them with a grain of salt, or not!
