All eyes remain on Ohio and Texas with polls showing the Democratic candidates still close and rhetoric flying.
Tonight MSNBC will telecast a debate between Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator Barack Obama, live from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio, 9-10:30 p.m. ET.
NBC’s Brian Williams will moderate and be joined by "Meet the Press" moderator and NBC News Washington Bureau Chief Tim Russert. It will be streamed live on msnbc.com.
In the audience, will be BlogHer Jill Zimon of Writes Like She Talks, who has already been posting photos, video, and commentary from Cleveland State. Jill not only has access to the spin room, but she's one of the lucky few with a ticket into the debate hall.
The Huffington Post will be live blogging the debate, as will Gloria Ferris. Ferris says,
"There is a lot of talk lately about historic moments occurring during the Democratic Primaries in 2008 and the eventual nominee chosen at the Democratic Convention later this year. The two moments talked about more than any others is the nomination of a black man or the first woman for the president of the United States. I think the most historic moment to me is the fact that the last one standing will most likely be voted for by a woman. Women are a huge factor in this presidential primary race. Whether we are white or black is not as important as the question of who will receive our vote."
PC Free Zone writes, "LOL this should be good. The last time Tim Russert who does not like Hillary did the debate it moved a lot faster and had more life to it then most debates."
Creative Ink says, "My mind is made up, but I'm interested to see what both candidates have to say tonight."
Will there be fireworks? Will it be another cordial event? Watch with us as Ohio gets a closer look at both democratic front-runners live in Cleveland.
