I'm going to be honest with y'all, I'm still pissed at how bad my team played last night. There are a few players that I would give anything to punch them in the face, but I'm not naming names.

In an effort to try to forget how bad the game was, today I'm sharing pictures from the blast I had before the Tigers hit the field.

Starters ... we had a LSU king cake at work. If y'all follow me on twitter, y'all know that I got the baby in the last king cake at work, which meant it was my turn to buy one.

Of course, I did it in style :)

After work, I met up with Julie. She had passes to a Bud Light party, so we went to check it out.

It was pretty awesome! The entrance was totally sketch, but the venue was super nice. They had all the Bud Light you could imagine and a new Bud Light that hasn't been introduce yet. Apparently it is supposed to have more alchy that than regular. Perfect fit for NoLa!!

But of course, I had to leave to walk across the street to get some vodka (I'm not a beer fan). And when we got back, we ventured on to the balcony.

Bourbon Street got more crowded as time went on. It was awesome.

Before we left the party to head to Julie's family's tailgate, we decided to try some food. Yum!

It tasted just like a Lucky Dog!! Happy Liz :)

Right when we got to the tailgate, we were greeted with some gumbo. Slurp. It was amazing!!

While we were hanging out there, I started to get REALLY pumped about the game, so I put my Michael Ford shirt on.

He's my brother, although, nevermind I refuse to complain about the game. Haha!.

Thanks Julie for showing me such a fun time!!! You're the BEST!!

Around 5:30 ish I started to get really antsy about the game. I knew I wasn't going to be able to enjoy myself if I watched the game in a crowd, so I ended up heading home to watch it from my couch.

With a little McDonalds.

And then someone posted a warning about McDonalds food. It was on twitter, and I don't remember who did it. But let's just say this was the LAST TIME I will EVER eat McDonalds again. Ever. {you can read it here}.

Maybe that was a sign the game was going to suck?? haha. Oh well!

Today is a new day, and at least the Saints still have a chance to go all the way, right? Although, I'd rather the Tigers had won the BCS.

I digress.

So yes! In an effort to turn today around, I got in my Tone It Up Booty call and my full body workout. It helped a bit :)

Well I'm off to work! Happy Tuesday!

How do you handle your team losing?

Are you a football fan? Do you prefer college or NFL?

Do you love tailgating?

Oh yes, and Sydney thanks all of y'all for the birthday wishes :)
