My big bang theory: Emilio Pucci Fashion Week Fringe

Syndicated

Bangs are back this season and it definitely showed on the Fall/Winter 2013-2014 Milan Fashion week. Emilio Pucci's, fashion designer at the show, had his models strutting down the runway in BIG bangs.

"I'll always like that sort of late '60s long bangs with longer hair look. Think Mary Jane, Spider-Man's girlfriend. I've noticed that Rose Byrne, who seems to be in every other movie right now, has been wearing her hair this way, and it has certainly captured my attention."

I realize this is fashion week and I'm oogling over the bangs and not the clothes, but I'm so excited to see bangs making a comeback on everyone! My favorite hairstyle is always one that incorporates bangs. I'm obsessed with them. They're so flattering around the eyes and really frame the face. I believe it really enhances everyone's beauty. I know bangs are intimidating for a lot of people and can make a lot of people "look" young; it simply takes some getting used to. Then you realize how naked you feel and look without them. They definitely complete a hairstyle and make it appear more pulled together.

I've heard it from so many men saying how sexy it is to see some hairs and fringe lay across the eye. It's more mysterious.

Actress Lea Michele also wears bangs as she is seen attending fashion week back in 2011, She was ahead of the trend.

On a side note, Her outfit is killer with her pop of blue pumps, against her flesh-tone dress. (and does anyone else think that Rachel really needs to get back together with Finn on Glee, because he is definitely the cuter one!)

Again for fall/winter 2013 she is seen with her blunt bangs, in a side swept style.

So take a leap of faith this season and go get bangs. The best haircuts I get are when I ask the stylist to tailor it to my face shape. So don't be afraid to say "I want bangs, but I want the best cut for my face."  You'll be much happier with them, then if you just pick any random cut from a magazine. If this is a complete transformation for you, then go to higher end salon. Especially if it's just for bangs. They have a different price if you just need your bangs worked on
