My Financial Philosophy
By as_green on January 18, 2013
Instead of creating a financial plan for 2013 I decided it would be more productive to develop my financial philosophy. Withso much in the air it is hard to make a plan to save X amount.
So without further ado:
I believe that personal finance is extremely personal.
I believe in spending less than I earn.
I believe in planning for retirement and having an emergency fund.
I believe that personal finance is about your priorities.
I don't believe money makes you happy, but the security it brings helps you do the things that do.
I don't believe you have to make a lot of money to be financially sound.
I save and plan in order to do the things that are important to me: family, friends, travel, running, yoga and good food.
