I have that sort of hair that can be sometimes curly, sometimes wavy, sometimes frizzy... in general, it's got a lot of body yet it's still prone to going limp if I use hair products that are too heavy. And most of the hair products are too heavy. I've tried a number of anti-frizzers and/or curl activators and/or leave-in conditioners over the years and most of them only last half the day (sometimes less) before my hair goes wonky. I cringe when I go to the hairstylist and they ask if I want "product" in my hair. They often just don't work out.
Essentially, I'm hair-product skittish.
However, just recently I discovered an absolutely fabulous dillemna to my bad frizz days. I've been using Shu Uemura Deepsea Water mist moisturizer all over my face and neck since it was recommended to me. It's a great way to feel moisturzed during the day without messing up your makeup; you just give yourself a little spritz. Well, after accidentally spritzing it across my hair I watched in amazement as my frizz disappeared! Best of all, I can spray it on anytime I see frizz starting (dry or damp hair, clean or dirty, it doesn't seem to matter) and it's so light it doesn't make my hair go limp after a couple of hours. Just beautiful, shiny, non-frizzy curls and waves.
I haven't lived without it since.
