I'm a geek...a big fat geek. I always have been.... always will be. There have been times where I "fit in" and many others where I have not. I'm the square peg always trying to shave off a few corners to fit into the round hole, or at least to throw on the invisibility cloak to see how the other half lives.
Oh yes, I was the kid who brought her Smurfing Sing Song and Smurfing All Star Show albums in for 4th grade show and tell, and who created the Tigers club on the playground in a little notebook, with her made-up friends. Yes, I wore the wrong clothes, chose the wrong shoes, listened to the wrong music, and caked on the wrong make-up.
I'm the girl who would be in the Omega Mu and date someone in Lambda Lambda Lambda. Side pony? Yeah I rocked it. Banana Clip? Yeah I had like a dozen colors. Geranimals...check. Oh, and I played the cello, sang in the choir, and always thought trombone players were way sexy.
Yes, I was that girl... still am.
Thing is, the world is ruled by us geeks. Yes, we do rule.... just watch a few episodes of Chuck (tv show...for you non-geeks).
