My Story Dealing with Breast Cancer

I never talked about my emotions with anyone else, but I was shocked. I was numb. Already had the news of another family member being diagnosis and learning it was too late for her. I was scared to lose my mother and in my head what is breast cancer? At this time, my mother and I didn't have the best relationship. We understood each other, but I didn't feel as though she was someone I can always talk to.
Eck, What teenager thinks its easy to talk to their parents? With everything that was happening, I only did what was best. Act out so I can move in with her. (Long story short, I was adopted by my aunt when I was 7 years old)....
