I'm the web manager for Blue Chair Fruit -- we're a small artisan jam and marmalade company in Oakland that makes fantastic jam and marmalade by combining traditional methods with modern flavor profiles and an exacting approach to fruit. We make about 100 flavors a year as seasons come and go. The Blue Chair Jam Cookbook, by owner Rachel Saunders, was published in September 2010 and has been nominated for a James Beard Award for food photography as well as an NCIBA award for best food writing.
I handle a wide range of tasks for BCF -- everything from BCF's social media voice to our blog posts to flavor descriptions for our online store. It's my job to make sure we use enough exclamation points!
