We're raising our grandson, who I nicknamed "Bean" when I first saw his ultrasound pic.He looked like a teeny jelly bean, and I started calling that sweet thing my 'grandbean'. The name stuck!
I've raised my 3 kids, 2 step kids, blended our families, and lived to tell about it. Now I'm having FUN letting bean teach me how to be a G.G. ( gorgeous grandma).Being a G.G. is so different from being a mom. I already know that eating dirt wont kill him, and sloppy kisses rock. I talk to him as if he understands everything I say, and most of the time he actually does. I let him jump on the bed, mop the floor and wear toenail polish. I make him say please, thank you, yes mam and use utensils when he eats. I hope one day his wife thanks me.
I love taking pictures like any other G.G., grandma and nana. After 20+ years of parenting/G.G.-ing, wisdom, I decided it's time to share what Bean is teaching ME. Enjoy, share, pass it on.
