My blog, Connect with your Teens through Pop Culture and Technology, helps parents keep up with pop culture and technology as a way of bonding with their teenage children. Parents can often seem to be behind the curve since whats "hot" in both technology and pop culture changes so rapidly. This blog contains topics that parents and teens can discuss and/or enjoy together such as books, television, music, technology, movies, gadgets and education. I live in New York City and am married and have two sons, with whom I have always connected through pop culture and technology.
I have an MLS and a JD degree and have been working with the Internet and Millennials for years, mostly as an academic law librarian teaching students legal research. I was also the coordinator of a conference program titled “Multitasking Millennials” and previously ran a computer school for kids. I also write for the Examiner's NY Parenting Teens and Long Island Television channels and one of the Silicon Valley Mom's blogs. I have been quoted in both the New York Daily News and WebMD on my views on texting and gaming.
