I'm a writer, photographer and mom to boys and a puppy, living in and inspiried by the Central Coast of California - a new gardener, old guitar player, voracious reader, science groupie, and creative thinker. Blogging is just a wonderful invention; since Life In A Skillet was "born" in January of 2010 I've loved experimenting with the format, challenging myself to step out of my boundaries to really discover my voice. As a huge added bonus, I've met a fascinating network of people doing so.
I've also published a coloring book, "Animalfish Alphabet," an A-Z of fish named after land animals. Truly, they exist. And since living so close to the edge of the continent has turned me into an environmentalist of sorts, most of my profit has gone into supporting worthy clean-water causes.
You can also find/friend me online at SheWrites, Goodreads, and Pinterest in addition to Twitter and Facebook. With a list like that, it's a wonder I get anything done!
