I love to eat and I love cook. I learned a lot of what I know from my mom who is an amazing cook. I also picked up a few things at restaurants where I’ve worked in the past. I’m always trying out new recipes or attempting to recreate dishes that I love from restaurants or places I’ve been. When I’m not cooking I enjoy traveling, shopping, crocheting, spending time with family and friends, and watching my husband play hockey. I also love the winter, the snow and everything related.
I grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin, but I’m currently moving around while my Canadian husband plays professional hockey - between the US, Canada, France and Kazakhstan. We've been coping with very limited kitchen space (no dishwasher and tiny little stoves), and sometimes it gets complicated finding certain ingredients. I’m making the best of what we have, and so far it’s been an interesting adventure.
I promise to try my best to create recipes that can actually be used – ones that aren’t too complicated or confusing. I’m sure I’ll continue to learn as I go, and I plan to share everything on my blog - A Teaspoon of Happiness.
