Erin often hosted childhood tea parties for stuffed animals and spent more time filling plates & teacups rather than being a part of the party herself. It was then she realized that her love of party planning, design and all things hospitable were her calling. After 15 years in Event Production and Brand Strategy, working with various clients for other companies, Erin realized she had a knack for finding less expensive ways to give clients more of what they want. That mentality wasn’t always appreciated and although she understood the need to protect the bottom line, it was never understood why they couldn’t cater to every price point, especially when it came to charity. So she set out to help those who needed platinum quality but only possessed a bronze budget by opening EMC Squared, a special events and branding firm along with DIY2EMC, a lifestyle blog focused on repurposing. A philanthropist at heart, Erin is an avid mentor, survivor and advocate. When she isn't planning wicked events, creating whimsical stationary and decor, or out saving the world, she spends her free time writing, cooking or working on yet another inspired DIY project. Erin is recently married with two bully breed pups and although born a proud Texan, she currently lives in Los Angeles.
