Bio

I have had a rare and fortunate opportunity to expand my career in nutrition across the spectrum.  My background in nutrition extends from inner city research in New York's Spanish Harlem to working with impoverished breast-feeding mothers in South Africa.  I have also consulted several corporate CEO's, celebrities and professional athletes.  My approach to nutrition is user friendly to accommodate the needs of all people.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Nutrition from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado before completing my dietetic training and masters classes at New York University in Manhattan.  I then spent four months doing post graduate work with community heath centers in South Africa, specifically addressing the needs of poverty stricken breast-feeding and HIV+ mothers and their babies. The following year, I set out to sharpen my culinary skills and trained under a chef in Tuscany, Italy.   I spent two months in Madrid, Spain mastering my Spanish and reinforcing my knowledge of the Mediterranean diet and culture.  I have spent time studying yoga and vegetarian cooking in Thailand.  I have traveled to and learned from places like French Polynesia, Austria, Argentina and Dubai.  Along the way, I have picked up skills and expertise to help you get where you want to be.

While in Atlanta, I developed Emory's Outpatient Nutrition Program, delivered several keynote presentations to corporations nationwide, appeared on WebMD, AIB TV, Healthier Atlanta Magazine, and in the AJC, and worked with hundreds of individuals.  I look forward to working with you or your company too!

My motto is simple.  I don't tell you what to do.  I partner with you, helping you at every step along the way.  I am just as passionate about you getting where you want to be as you are.

I continue to stay abreast of the latest trends and technology within the field of nutrition by attending and speaking at professional conferences.
