Bio

I am an author and advertising copywriter. I have work appearing or forthcoming in dozens of venues including Radio Scripts for the “Click it or Ticket” National Campaign, and “Operation Lifesaver” which featured Country Music sensation, Charlie Daniels. My best-selling books are;

Bullycide: To Whom It Concerns - which tackles the tragic issue of children who are choosing suicide as an answer to being bullied. The book is available for purchase on Amazon.com

 Hemophobula: The Wannabe Vampire - a highly comical book that is enjoyed by kids and adults too. Book reviews can be found on www.normandysbrightideas.com and the book is available for purchase on Amazon.com

I wrote a song, “My Best Friend Ted”  which adorned constant radio air play in Chicago during the late 1990’s. Additionally, I worked on the “God Speaks” Billboard Campaign contributing continuous concepts. I have also written scripts for the television cartoon, “Auto-B-Good” .

My favorite book is, “The Giving Tree,” by, Shel Silverstein.  I'm a pet-parent, reader, great listener, goofball, baker and loyal friend.  Oh...and I love, love, loooooovvvvve Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks. Yummy!!!

I blog on many popular sites about various things...so if you have a 2nd Fav (I know Blogher.com is your #1 site right?) you will most likely find my blogs on your 2nd Fav blogging site.

I am especially passionate about educating and informing people about Bullying and Bullycide - Suicide because of Bullying. I was recently invited to become a part of a local County Anti-Bullying Committee. I am also super excited that Pacer.org has invited me to partner with them for their October 2013 Bully Prevention Month Event.

My heart breaks everytime I read a story about another young life lost...when it didn't have to be that way.  I hope you find my blogs informative. If there is a topic in the area of bullying you would like to see addressed, please let me know. Also, please feel free to share my blogs and help spread knowledge about the growing epidemic of Bullycide.

Sincerely,

Normandy
