30 Minutes Worth the While

With the prevalence of ready in 5 minute dinners and lunches that comes in a box (no lunchbox packing needed), I am going to make an odd suggestion.  I think that you should spend 30 minutes making a food that is merely an accompaniment.  Nope, it isn't an entree, it isn't even a side dish.  However, for the flavor that it will deliver, I think it is worth every one of those thirty minutes. What food is worth that amount of time, when many people don't put that much time into a whole dinner?  Caramelized onions.   ...more
