'Count Your Blessings' Ring

No matter how hard I try, I can never make things are that slick and uniform in design. I love the crazy combinations of textures, sizes and themes. Imagine my delight when, on a recent trip to New York City, I found all kinds of over-the-top beaded, paper, and fabric cocktail rings for sale. They weren’t only in the trendy accessory boutiques, but also at the street vendors booths. I came home inspired to whip up my own version. Embrace individuality! No two rings will ever be alike and you can work in a color story, or mix and match like I did here....more

Getting Hit by a Drunk Driver is Not Fun

This is what happened when a drunk 20-something-year-old female slammed into the back of my rental car while I sat at a red light Saturday night. Because of a young woman's irresponsible behavior and reckless choices, I spent the early morning hours today strapped in an uncomfortable neck brace in the emergency room as my back and shoulders were poked and prodded for broken bones.I had to stand uncomfortably in an x-ray booth wearing a lead apron over my 23-week pregnant belly, trusting that the exposure wouldn't be too much for Bug....more

Want a quick and easy way to make your space look super hip in only a couple hours? I wish I could tell you that this was hard, but it was sooooo easy.
