Photography 102: Lighting

I've really started to take an interest in improving my photography lately, especially my lighting. Previously, I was shooting on our dining room table. When I first heard about "Steak and Blow Job Day," I cracked up laughing. My husband of seven months insisted that this "holiday," celebrated on March 14, was a day for men to be treated special. He said that I had to cook him a steak and give him a blow job to show him my appreciation. Since these were two things I did regularly, I shrugged him off; what made March 14th any different? When “the itch” started with Man, I was already pregnant with Lady; it seemed silly to go back to work for such a short period of time. But I’m not having any other kids and I’m not so sure being a SAHM is the right fit for me. I’m not quite sure where I belong. ...more

Have you noticed the disappearing bloggers phenomenon? They start off all eager, posting and commenting and following. Then (the writers especially) start complaining about how much time blogging takes. There’s often a post to strategize how to best utilize their time. For some, school gets in the way. Then there are those who take off for a couple of months or the summer or to work on a WIP. And never come back. ...more
