Age Gap Relationships – To Procreate or Not, That is the Question

The first question people ask when they find out my husband is 15 years younger than I am, is, without fail, “Are you going to have children?”  What I want to say is, “If I was going to have children, I would have had them before now.”  ...more

Age Gap Relationships - Younger Men and Older Women

We went to the movies to celebrate my 50th birthday last weekend (a double-header with the new Indiana Jones and the new Narnia flicks) and saw a trailer for “I Could Never Be Your Woman” – a tale of a mother who falls for a younger man while her daughter falls in love for the first time.  Given that my husband is 15 years younger than me – well, right now he’s actually 16 years younger than me until his birthday next month – we both enjoyed the clips, especially the jumping on the bed part (which, yes, w ...more

But, apart from the presence of my two adult half-sisters, she had a life before me that I knew nothing about. ...more

Road Trip to Michoacan

They won’t list my blog on BlogHer – yet – seems I don’t post often enough for them, but that’s changing.  In the meantime, I wish they’d do a check every once in awhile on the blogs they do have listed – I tried several and they all came back “Page Not Found.”  What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, y’know. ...more
