there's an app for that...

Disclaimer: I do not consider myself very technical or hip to the latest gadgets out there. I leave that to Husband, whom I sometimes call a geek, but that's usually to cover up the fact that I don't know what he's talking about. I often refer to our laptop as "the machine" and the remote, well, it basically looks new to me every time I use it. You get the idea. As Baby S' arrival loomed ahead of us last fall, I was in need of a cell phone upgrade. Husband suggested the iPhone and I said why do I need one of those newfangled contraptions....more

If you live within the five boroughs, chances are your available space is at a premium. And as I've written about in a previous post, you adjust pretty quickly because the payoff is living in New York City. Husband and I still find that worthwhile, and hope Baby S will one day love the city as much as we do....more

babysitting duty...

With Daddy Day Care officially over (Husband started a new project on 2/15), and Nanny A beginning on March 1st, we decided to call in the reinforcements for a little something I'm calling Grand Camp 2010. For the less cheesy-minded, that would be... a visit from the grandparents. That's right... Two weeks of back to back parents!...more

dreaming of spring...

I could really, REALLY do with an end to winter. As in now. Right this very minute. Are you listening, Mother Nature?...more
