Details from the Storm

(Cross posted on my blog, EmilysHollow)It's hard to know what to write about an event like the storms in Alabama last week. It's big, for one, bigger than I know how to describe. But along with that, when you're in it, you don't get how big it is. You deal with what's in front of you, because that's all there's time for. Also because that's all you hear about. It's a Thursday morning and I am running errands with Xander in the back seat. I can still smell the new car scent of the Honda JS and I just traded my old coup in for and I am listening to one of my favorite playlists on the iPhone I got for my birthday.
