You cannot ignore a problem and expect it will go away. You certainly shouldn't ignore a problem when it means hundreds of thousands of people are being killed or left to die. Exercise Your Right to Vote--Because You Have One

In the United States, today are the Midterm Elections in the United States. As you can see from my blog [see "I Voted" sticker], I already voted through absentee ballot. There was no way I would be missing my vote.  Although Americans have the right to vote, I believe this right is taken for granted, here. In many places around the world, people do not get to vote or their votes are irrelevant because of political and voting corruption. Flourishing in a New City

For almost three months, I have been living in Washington, D.C.  as I start the next part of my life in the career field of my true interest. This has been a truly incredible, exploratory time so far. It has allowed me to reflect on my life, my changing perspectives, archaic social norms, and being a young woman in this new age.
