My Dog: Is He Cuter Than Yours?

I am poking a little bit of fun at my fellow bloggers with the title of this post.  I'm noticing many blog post titles are in this format, usually regarding super serious subjects.  Example would be, "Gun Control:  Keeping our Schools Safe."  Anyhoo, when I had my daughter, I thought she was the cutest baby in the world.  I would look at other babies and think to myself, "Well Sarah (my daughter) is cuter than that baby."  I often wondered why the Gerber Corporation wasn't beating down my door to put her in their commercials!  My dad would say...more

Confessions of a Dysfunctional Blogger

I am new to the blogging world and have encountered some frustrations.  I thought I would share them to see if others feel similar and/or to solicit the advice of those who are more experienced:   1)  I am anal retentive.  I cannot afford a nice camera, nor do I have access to photoshop to edit my photos.  I am not at all happy with all of my photographs.  Should I refrain from taking pictures until I have better equipment?  2)  I am out of practice.  I used to be quite a good writer and photogragher, but it's been a long ...more
