I love welcoming the New Year.  I'm not talking about the crazy parties and drinking (though I did do my share what seems like a lifetime ago), I'm referring to setting new goals for myself.  I do this at any time of the year, but January 1st is my official list;  What I want to achieve for the upcoming year.  I write them down on bright neon paper, frame it, and put it on my nightstand.  Every morning, when I wake up, I see what I'm striving for.  The bright color helps me to not to tune it out, either…for the first few days, at least....more
