Nablopomo is almost into August

Here we are well into another month of Nablopomo.  I signed up again.  I'm not sure how effective it is though as I don't really see anyone coming from here to know for sure if it works or not.

But I have been writing pretty regularly.  Well, except when my daughter wants to confiscate my laptop for a few hours during the week to play her Free Realms and Feroheart games.  For some reason it doesn't work on her old computer.

So, that means a summer of sharing it with her and me having to find other crafts to do while she is on.  She knows at certain times she has to fork it over for a little while so Mom can have her turn too.

I should start looking at some cool prompts.  Some days, I'm not sure what I want to write about.  Thinking of this here is a cool link to a girl's free e-book of blogging prompts.  It's beautiful and well put together with some lovely pictures to go with it.  There's a gorgeous butterfly in it.

I've written two posts today.  Yay!

I should make myself write one tomorrow too, however, I do have some priorities first.  People need their ebay packages.  And it's my son's birthday tomorrow.

We treated him to see the new Spiderman movie last weekend.  He loved it and I'm sure it will be one of the highlights of his year.

And thinking of things, earlier this evening my boyfriend saw on his computer that Michael Jackson's mother has disappeared.  So, I'm not really sure what that's all about.

I've got to make the kids watch the news more often at night.  All summer we seem to be on a different pattern.  Instead of the normal day of The Today Show, Rachel Ray, Kathy Lee and Hoda Kotb, Days of Our Lives and all the other shows on that channel, it ends up being 66 or Animal Planet or some other kid channel.  Those are the two typical ones though.

So, I will be sharing the laptop with her this week and then the first full week of August, their Dad is taking them camping in Maine for the whole week.  So, I am planning on camping out at their house for part of the week and probably heading over to my boyfriend's for the weekend.

But that means a whole week of Mom's laptop all to myself!!!!!!!!!

But, in the mean time, I have been enjoying some knitting and beginning to scrap book.

I want to start creating some of my own designs.  Yay.  I finally figured out how to get a photograph into my Blogher posts.  I ended up learning to copy my urls from my Blogger posts as I can't figure out how to get the url from the actual image in my pictures.
