I have been using MSN Live Spaces as my blog site since 2005. I started it as a venue to share a trying experience. That year, I was falsely accused and charged with child abuse and I used the blog to get the real truth out...the real story. It then turned into something cathartic, a place for my thoughts, reviews, various forms of writing - stuff like that. Now, after 5 years of content I have a lot on there I do not want to lose. BUT this hosting site is SOOOO bad. Commenters have to sign up to leave a comment. Who is going to want to do that? There are not site statistics and the Statcounter site I use does not work well as it is all HTML. And I spent an entire weekend trying to find a way to convert my content from my current site to a new one - but found nothing. Coping and pasting 5 years of stuff will make me want to put a gun to my head.
I also want to make my site more appealing - visually and entertainingly. I need inspiration. Ideas. Suggestions. So, if you have any and want to help lil ole me I would so appreciate it. It should be known that I know little to nothing about computers, software, programming - any of it. Complete novice here.
