Until I find many acres on which to build a creative and sustainable homestead complete with bees, chickens and goats, I'm trying to balance new motherhood with working towards these dreams. A little bit of everything is my motto in the kitchen. I care about my family's heath but from time to time I let myself get carried away into the chocolate land. My favorite thing to eat (guilt free) is chocolate cheesecake. Or anything with cheesecake or with chocolate. I also love fresh homemade bread. I lost count how many times I've burned my fingers and my tongue taking a small bite.
I do believe, based mostly on my hubby's oohs and aahs, that cooking improves with every dish....more
I am a 50 something Midwesterner. I enjoy collecting cookbooks (over 100), spoons (a collection passed down from my mother) and wine corks (when will I finish that wine cork wreath?) I am caring for my first rose garden. I LOVE to travel...where will our next vacation be?
