  • A New Kind of Normal: Living Abundantly with Chronic Illness

My name is Jamee and I'm 28 years old. Once at a conference I heard a woman share her story and she made a very profound statement. Sometimes things are out of our control and life may never return to what we consider "normal." Often we must seek a "new kind of normal." After being diagnosed with endometriosis and fibromyalgia and facing infertility, I have had to seek out a new kind of normal for my life. Hence the title of my blog....more

    "F" is For...

Naturally, "F" is my favorite letter in the alphabet - with the initials FF, and my obsessions of food, fashion, and fitness, how could it not be? My friends know me as the girl who eats an insane amount of food (preferably meat), but is also dedicated to dragging her butt out of bed before a long day at the office to get in a good workout (currently addicted to lifting heavy things). I am the go-to person for a good restaurant recommendation because I have never steered anyone wrong, and I critique every meal like I am a judge on Food Network....more

I'm a Mommalicious Mommy of 2 beautiful boys and married to one handsome guy. I love motherhood and wifehood, but I don't let it consume me so much that I lose myself in the process of raising my boys, maintaining a household and caring for my husband. I love to eat healthy and workout to maintain a figure any girl (even the childless ones) could be proud of, I love dressing up and keeping up with fashion trends (sweatpants are for workouts and pjs!), I love skincare and beauty products and most importantly, I love finding time to be with friends and have a life outside of motherhood....more
